Touch The Sky - Heist Rework was all about giving the first heist a fresh coat of paint, both visually and in terms of gameplay. The big goal? Make everything easier to see, more inviting, and truly capture that luxury vibe you’d expect from a fancy Manhattan penthouse.
One of our primary objectives was to revisit and refine the colour palette. While the original sunset-inspired lighting delivered an immediate sense of drama, its monochromatic intensity often led to visual fatigue during extended play. By introducing a broader spectrum of colours and enhancing contrast across the environment, we achieved a more comfortable visual experience that supports gameplay clarity and highlights key environmental cues.
We also beefed up the Manhattan skyline with extra skyscrapers, so the view outside the windows feels even more epic and real. The rooftops aren’t just for show either; they’ve got new gameplay elements and cool stuff to find, making it way more fun to run around up there.
All these changes were about preserving that high-end penthouse feel while introducing even more personality and excitement. Achieving this vision was only possible because of the remarkable collaboration across the team. From environment art and lighting to level design and VFX, every discipline brought creativity, skill, and passion to the project. Their collective expertise truly elevated this rework.
